National Primary Route 9 Traffic Counts (Old Route)

On the old N9, traffic levels grew slowly over the last 10 years to between 10 and 15,000 vpd. Carlow North was bypassed in 2008 by the M9 and halved immediately to 7,000. By 2010, the whole road was bypassed, and therefore this page will no longer be updated. Instead the counts should be viewed on the M9 counts page instead.
